This website is hosted on my home server which is running
Sun Solaris 10/x86. As you can see its a nice desktop model so that it doesn't take up too much
of my space. Its hostname is 'Magi', borrowed from the Evangelion anime series. The webserver is
SunONE 6.1SP5, the whole story behind that can be found elsewhere. You can click on the picture
for a larger version.

The machine has a VIA mainboard (Cyrix processor), runs at 866Mhz and has 512Mb internal memory which is
plenty for the things I'm doing with it. I got the mainboard from Alternate while the case came from Powerline. Both are Dutch computer shops.
The website has been totally re-done, as mentioned on the frontpage. While a CMS offers some advantages
when it comes to editing and maintaining your website I think its overkill for a personal page. My companies
website on the other hand is also in dire need of a good makeover, but that is something which will be done
with the aid of a good CMS, also because we'll have more than one person working on that site. But for now
this website has been fully setup using Quanta Plus, a web development environment running on KDE.
